ABLE - A HOME FOR GIRLS WHO HAVE AGED OUT OF THE CHILD WELFARE SYSTEM
When kids from group homes age out of the child welfare system they are often left on their own without a substantial exit plan. ABLE is a home for girls ages 18-23 who have aged out of the child welfare system. They will have the opportunity to live at ABLE for 2 years where they will learn life skills and upon their departure they will be set up with a job and housing. The intent is to break the pattern so that these girls can have a brighter future.
