Eclectic Farmhouse Reveal

Jenny is a wife and mom to 3 kids and also my aunt. Growing up as neighbors I always loved going over to her house to see her newest projects. Every room experienced a variety of looks until all the pieces came together and it was finally just right. Walls were painted over and over again, furniture was redone or purchased and she knew how to make a house a home. We spent Saturday mornings at the flea market scavenging for the perfect pieces that had the potential to be something great.

Jenny has been one of my biggest design inspirations and has pushed me in my own style to be more creative. Her style is distinctly her own, eclectic with a bohemian flair, by mixing new items with vintage pieces to cultivate a space full of interest. One of her tips and tricks that is seen throughout her design is that she likes to keep a neautral base, but adds pops of color and texture to bring life to the space.

The Collins family bought a dilapidated 1960s ranch home greatly in need of some love. Over the course of two years, they renovated each space to create an environment that captured the history of the home but allowed for a modern spin to fit their everyday lives. I hope you enjoy seeing the tour of this home and leave feeling inspired. Stay tuned in later weeks as we dive in and discuss the details and finishes of this home!
